No more big announcements; no pomp and circumstance; no ‘excited’ rhetoric – Inferno is now Bite and that’s that.
As of today (which incidentally would have been Inferno’s 6th birthday) the good folk of Glenthorne Road are answering their telephone as Biters, have changed their email signatures and are having fun trying to get their PDAs to sync to new domains.
Internal wiring and moving the table tennis table apart, it has all gone pretty smoothly. We don’t actually move into Beavor Lane until the end of the month which gives Chris and Sherrine time to deal with the crap on Liam’s desk and the 30GB of attachments in Grantie’s inbox. The logistics of operating a large (and probably illegal) Van de Graaf generator – given the metal floor in Bite Towers – is also a source of some concern.
Nevertheless, I want to sign off with my personal feelings about the combined Inferno/Bite team -we’re going to be a force to be reckoned with; that’s a promise.
