Laurie, I'm not sure what I feel more compelled to comment on: the reality of this video; the possibility that you were merely introduced to the Internet on 7/15/09 since this is the "most offensive video [you've] ever seen"; or inquiring which ad agency you were fired from because you followed the lead of your own misconception that people in agencies don't work their tale off. I'm guessing that your "firsthand experience" of doing little work is why you are now on the client side. Perhaps you work for the government?

This is the most offensive video I've ever seen. I've worked in-house and on the agency side...this video is suggesting that agencies actually "work" for their money, which is completely and totally off the mark. Having been at an agency for years, I can tell you firsthand not much work gets done and most meetings are about how to get the client to pay more money for a project (bring in additional team members, make a 30 minute phone call into a one hour phone call,e tc.). If you hate agency life so much, why not go back in-house? I did, but, I actually like to work for my paycheck.

This is absolutely awesome and so on the mark! I would have loved to see a restaurant bit where they order something like baked alaska that takes an hour to make, and the client changes their mind three times during the meal, ultimately deciding once it's delivered that they don't need it so aren't paying for it.

Yes- exactly spot on. Thanks for posting the video! My favorite part: "Can you show me how you did this so I can bring it in-house?"
