I came across this the other day.
Basically a (near) real time aggregator of all the images being posted to Twitter. Please be careful as there is no filter on this and some of the images could be considered very NSFW as I found out when a young lady posted an image of her tattoo claiming to be a *lollipop* sucka with a pic of said *lollipop*.
Which leads me to my point – how are people taking advantage of this? Every PR person knows a picture paints a thousand words and a powerful picture can be the difference between a full page spread and a few column inches on page 18. Nothing makes an emotive connection with a brand like an image. In other online mediums we have seen this from Flickr right through to Photosynth and Youtube so why is Twitter slow to the game?
Maybe aggregators like Pingwire are the answer but would be interested in everyone else’s thoughts.
