Ho Ho Ho! Happy Christmas all ye merry Biters!

December 22, 2009 by Gareth Kolze-Jones · 0 comments

New Year on the Thames always goes with a bang The decorations are up, the Christmas songs have been in full flow around the UK office for a few weeks now and the advent calendar jokes are being bandied around here, there and everywhere: what do you find hiding in a bakery at Christmas? A mince spy!

As December, and the decade, wind to a close, people are beginning to jet off for their Christmas holidays and it’s always good to see where everyone will be spending the festive break.

Here on the aptly named International Team at Bite UK we’re all set for some festive adventures. Tony ‘travels all the time’ Lederer will be sunning it up in Zambia with his family over the holidays, enjoying sun, dust and……elephants. The lovely Eunice Lam will be hitting new heights as she sees in the New Year on the ski slopes of Austria. Our wonderful Eliza Dabney will be getting in touch with her roots as she spends the break back home in Montana, while Matt ‘can tough out any weather’ Lambert is heading across the channel to France for the New Year. Matt plans to spend his holiday abroad in the time honoured tradition of drinking festive amounts of ‘happy juice’ while navigating his way through the intricacies of the French language (all the best, Matt).

But not everyone’s scattering for the break – a group of us true ‘Londoners’ will be braving the weather and joining the huddled masses on the bank of the river Thames on Dec 31st to enjoy the truly spectacular fireworks display (http://www.london.gov.uk/newyearseve/).

Well, there are presents that need wrapping and good-will that needs spreading, so this post is unfortunately at an end. We hope that you all have equally exciting plans for the holidays and that you have a relaxing and decadent time, and perhaps if you’ve got a spare minute, why not leave a comment and let us know what you’ll be getting up to? Otherwise, we look forward to catching up with you in 2010!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays!

P.s. I hope Santa brings you what you want!
