We say forget X-Factor, pah to Strictly and don’t even both with Britain can dance (or whatever), no, the highest contested competition of 2009 was for the Bite Christmas card: Bite’s got Talent .  And finally the results have been counted and verified

Fans came from as far and wide as Ravenscourt Park tube station, London to show their support for the Bite B-Boyz (image: www.freeimages.co.uk)

by our independent judge (ahem, me!) and we can announce the winner.

Dragging our minds back to the pre-Christmas festivities, the “talented” boys and girls of Bite UK strutted their stuff in aid of charity and artistic endeavour by producing short videos depicting their special “talents”.

The voting lines are now closed and we have a clear winner.

The Bite B-Boyz took a stonking 29% of the vote. Second place went to Elijah and his hilarious King of Flop (19% of the vote) and third place to Holly for her excellent MC Tweed (14% of the vote).

Huge congrats to Greg, Stuart and Tom. It just goes to show, yellow cycling jackets are cool, rap is back and everyone loves to watch people make fools of themselves for charity!

Thanks to everyone who took part, a cheque for £500 is already winging its way to Great Ormond Street children’s hospital in London.

For those of you into the detail, all of the results and the videos can be found here:  http://www.bitesgottalent.com/
